For a longer stay, the Tustin Police Department may grant a special permit for up to 24 consecutive hours on a showing of special circumstances; we flag that case at booking.

With a food hall and a conference center sharing the campus, the crew plans a route that stays clear of common areas: carts move in a single lane, nothing is left stacked where visitors walk, and the manager names the entrance freight should use. Freeway work and the hourly clock

Two OCTA freeway projects pass through Tustin. With Caltrans, OCTA is adding one regular lane and one carpool lane in each direction on about 4 miles of SR-55 between I-405 and I-5, and it lists construction from August 2022 to 2027.

On I-5, from north of I-405 to SR-55, OCTA plans a general-purpose lane each way, merge lanes at on- and off-ramps and modified ramps at select interchanges. Its schedule shows two segments: I-405 to Yale Avenue, spring 2026 to mid-2029, and Yale Avenue to SR-55, spring 2026 to late 2029.
