Talega Maintenance Corporation's CC&Rs put commercial vehicles on the list of prohibited vehicles, next to motorhomes, boats and trailers. On TMC streets they may park only briefly, in connection with loading or unloading, and never longer than 24 hours. We book the truck for loading day alone; if the house needs two days of packing, they happen without it.

Sea Summit at Marblehead has its own homeowners association, and FirstService Residential began managing it on March 1, 2021. Ask whoever manages it now about move rules and insurance paperwork, and pass the answer to your coordinator. A certificate of insurance, if required, is $50 per building on our pricing page.

Sea Summit and the beach blocks

Sea Summit at Marblehead is a single-family community of 309 homes, built in 2015 on the Marblehead Coastal ridge near the Outlets at San Clemente and divided into four neighborhoods. In homes like these, the crew lays floor runners and wraps door frames and stair rails in padding before the first dresser leaves a room.

By the water, the curb has a price. City lots and meters at North Beach, Linda Lane, Parque Del Mar/Pier Bowl and Esplanade/T-Street are paid from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., at pay stations or, in the Pier Bowl lot and at T-Street, through Passport Parking. There is no grace period, so we tell you how long loading will take and you can pay for enough time.

Roads out of town and your price

A truck heading north on I-5 runs the stretch between Avenida Pico and San Juan Creek Road, where an OCTA project added a carpool lane in each direction. Our loaded truck keeps to the general lanes, so we set the departure time by general-lane traffic.

You may also read about a road from Cow Camp Road south to Avenida La Pata. On March 12, 2020 the Foothill/Eastern Transportation Corridor Agency board voted unanimously to back extending Los Patrones Parkway along that line as a proposed untolled county road; your coordinator plans the route on roads open on your moving day. Neither route nor traffic touches your price, because the binding estimate has no hourly clock and no three-hour minimum.

A load that rides for days needs more care than one that rides for an hour. The crew wraps furniture in blankets and stretch wrap, packs dishes upright in dish packs and stacks the load tight so nothing shifts on the freeway. Every box and piece goes on an inventory with photos, which gives you a record to check at delivery.

You can hand the whole house to our professional packers or pack the easy rooms yourself and leave glassware, art and mirrors to the crew. If you pack on your own, boxes are sold one at a time: a book box costs $1.25, a dish pack $3.50, and small, medium and large boxes $4, $5 and $6.
