Tenant Move Procedures

The Burbank Studios at 3000 W. Alameda Ave gives its tenants a written moving procedure. Management wants the moving company's name, a contact name and phone number, and a certificate of insurance meeting all of the landlord's requirements. The freight elevator and loading dock are scheduled through the Management Office, and the movers must use protective materials so carpet, paint and corridor wall coverings stay undamaged.

Its general rules let the landlord set the weight, size and position of equipment and furniture brought in and require weight-distributing platforms under heavy objects, at the tenant's expense, when it considers them necessary.
